Does anyone know why??

Harrison's mentions that if there is low intake of calcium in diet, then it can cause HTN. This i fail to understand.. So if anyone knows the answer, do let me know!

i'm sure he also explains it in the chapter on HT - the bit about dietary modifications in mgmt of HT...
similarly, Ca supplements are supposed to protect against PIH, although controversially.
